Christ is Risen! The Ready Center

In light of the continued attack on our  2nd Amendment rights, we will continue to share brief, yet powerful videos that provide an African American perspective on gun control.  Do don’t do this because we believe the African American voice is more valuable, more intelligent, or more appealing than any other American voice.  We do this because of the valuable first hand experience to be gained from a people group who were forcefully kept unarmed by their very own government – a government that did so when the people needed protection the most.

Lord willing, that atrocity never happen again.

Please stay diligent in our battle to keep and bear arms.  Don’t be discouraged.  Don’t quit.  Don’t back down.  And please share on facebook, twitter, Pinterest, youtube, etc.

Blessings,

The Ready Center

Anyone who has ever had the pleasure of using a compact propane fueled camp stove during a power outage or during a camping trip knows how invaluable they are.  Especially so if you are cold and wet.  These little work-horses really are a “must have” for those who live in a cold environments year round, as well as for those who appreciate a hot meal.  This pay period we recommend you go out and get one.

You’ll find that compact propane fueled camp stoves are worth their weight in gold if/when you find yourself in a real “grid down (more…)

One thing that I have been doing for years is hunting for old silver and gold.  Not at pawn shops or coin shops, but deep in the fertile grounds of the beautiful USA.  As the years go by and the country falls deeper and deeper into hard financial times, the price of precious metals goes up and up.  The price of a 1940’s Liberty dime is about 2 dollars today simply due to the silver content.  The price of a man’s gold ring ranges from 400 to 700 or more dollars.  My tool of choice to find old precious metals?  That’s (more…)

Statesman, author, orator, political theorist, and philosopher Edmund Burke once said, ” Those who don’t know history are doomed to repeat it.”  Sadly, this statement rings entirely too true for the current generation.  One group within the United States who were denied their fundamental right to keep and bear arms is the African American citizen.  Because of this denial of their fundamental right to self defense, a great number of disgusting horrific crimes were committed agains them including beatings, lynchings, rape, and outright murder.  None of which would have been possible if they weren’t denied the right to defend themselves via the use of a firearm.

Again, we are sharing yet another voice from the African American community regarding Gun Control.  Please share via facebook, twitter, pinterest, email, etc. to share this message.

Thank you and God bless you all,

Water?  Check.  Backpack containing knife and flashlight(s)?  Check.  So what’s next you ask…  A machine gun!  Duh!  Just kidding.  This pay period we recommend you cover one of the basic necessities of life:  Food.

What exactly you choose to get and how much you choose to get will depend upon your family size and dynamic.  This article, we will not be providing you with a rock solid recommendation on what exactly you should purchase.  Instead we will lay out some of the better options you have and (more…)
