The Ready Center - Water 1

Article submitted by Brian S. Kiefat @ The Ready Center

A water-purification minded inventor by the name of Glen Meder, along with APN (American Preppers Network), is hosting a free web seminar entitled “Understanding Red Cross Recommendations for Treating Water in an Emergency!”  The online event is scheduled to take place Thursday May 15 at 7pm Central (8pm EST/6pm MST/5pm PST).  Will this seminar be any good?!  I honestly don’t know, but I can tell you one thing for sure – the price is right.

This free web based event is scheduled to cover the following water purification related topics:

  • How your water can become dangerously contaminated in an emergency
  • How to protect your family…while their world seems to be collapsing around them
  • Understanding FEMA & Red Cross recommendations for treating water during an emergency
  • What to do and what NOT to do

Just a heads up on 2 things:  1)  If you want to view this free web seminar you still have to sign up in advance and can do so by clicking here.  And 2)  I suspect Mr. Meder will be making a hard push to sell his product, The Survival Still, which looks pretty legit.  What is a Survival Still?  It’s is a non-electric water distiller that purifies water by boiling the water and collecting only the pure steam (a process called distillation). The result; consistently pure water from virtually any water source, without the use of filters. If you’re in an emergency, you can purify water from your swimming pool, a stream or even the ocean, for as long as is needed.

Knowing the few facts we know about this free web seminar, I think it’s safe to say that it will be worth checking out.  If you attend and appreciate the content, please feel free to share what you learned below in the comment section.  We’d love to hear from you.  Until next time…

Make READY!
